I think they scrapped the VOSA test. I believe you just take it for a MOT test. Could be wrong though.

Hi thanks for the reply Anthony much appreciated. Do you happen to know if once the car is repaired is the car going to cost more to insure as it is a cat C? Thanks Will.

I don't think so, IMO. The car will be worth much less than a non cat c car though, even if It's repaired to showroom standard. I know insurance companies have 'engine replacement' listed, but I don't know if it would alter the price. :/
