right best get to bed 7am start on car tommorow and wont surface til its running or sunday night lets do this .....Fingers crossed the goldseal donor engine is ok, i have no idea i know nothing about this motor :( my £350 worth of parts brought in last 3 weeks should be everything she will need ....... one and a half years im having mini adventure withdrawal symptoms. come on liquorice we want you back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

mines already taken a year and 3 months ......
AND THE BEST NEWS engine fired into life first time runs like a dreams it was a goldseal 998cc i put in i was given it so was unsure on the internals.
all i need to do now is tidy the wiring loom, fit pads and wheels/tyres ... finish the last few clamps for exhaust and grille and bonnet oh and indicators ;) im booked in for the Help for Heroes mini show in july so need it running for then maiden cruise around coombe but the...

Tommorow picking up my latest car whilst mins of the road ...1993 Metro Rio Grande, 1 Owner from new and 15,575miles on the clock mint all round completley original :) cant wait :D

Good luck with the tax and yes were are in so if you get her taxed, come round. Milly was built on 25th May 1983, registered on 16th June 1983. Maestro was launched on 1st March 1983.

Wow so a very early maestro indeed :O that's cool so 3months into the maestro that must be one of the earliest left surely? Thank you I hope so I just want to drive her now had a few breakdowns on way home you'd of seen me dotted along the Cowley road at various points :D haha got going in the end ;)

They Used them on the Radford Mini Conversions in the 70's... they look pretty hot! but as you pointed out to me on Saturday, they're really hard to find! would look so cool on Liquorice though! :D

there for the project not liquorice she is going back to standard Mayfair ;) although bog standard with riley headlamp peaks that would look lush :) but nah there for the project hopefully ill find some i may tempt retro rides for some :( (hate that forum >_<)
