If you just straight into a (minimum 143bhp VVC) you'll wrap it and yourself round a tree in no time. A K-Series is a big step up from an a-series powered mini or metro, and even the 1.4 16v has double the power of most minis, dont narrow your market by looking for a VVC, 1.4 8v's are quick enough for somebody with limited driving experience

are you on metro power craig ? im just thinking of doing that conversion first as last so i wont be ripping the engine out a couple of months down the line
