If its not reading the speed then i'm afraid you need to replace the entire cluster. I just had to do that to mine.

we've had a few in.. all needing new cluster units.. a couple for speedo and a couple for the fuel dial..

if in doubt - you really cant go wrong with Maniflow. the SC one I would say is built to a high standard, on par with Maniflow, with the obvious advantage of being stainless
