If you go down the Hydro Dipped route theres a company called www.mydipkit.com, Ive never used them but a friend of mine uses his car as a promotional car for them. Looks amazing you can pretty much dip any thing, with a huge variety of patterns. Link below is a photo of his car and engine bay :P

Its expensive but youll get enough in the cheap kit to do most of the mini lol
