got my speakers fitted today (did mean i had to remove the rear window but it went ack in relatively easy), so id say my project is done :) (bar maybe getting the timing setup by a garage

cant wait to go home this weekend and see Hutch again, and do some more work too. Hoping to get it finished oer the next few weekends so i can get it taxed and start driving him :)

Going home weekend after next and my parents are trying to get me to sell my mini to recover the space in their garage. so ive gone and ordered a load more parts so i can take it apart again :P

Back from downton engineering with a list of things that are wrong with my mini, but hopefully the CO level is fixed enough to pass the mot. cheers guys :)

leaned off the mixture today in a hope it passes its emissions test on its mot retest on monday, hardly touched it and now it runs **** :(

Hutch is in for his MOT today, hope he passes :) Ive spent the last 12 weeks fixing him up after being off the road for 5 years+

as in you cant turn on the sidelights or headlights (dipped) when the ignition is in the off position. I think ive sorted it now (wire crimped to the wrong connector going onto the fuse box) but im not 100% sure as the car wont start now so im charging the battery as the volts looked a bit low (it would click and the everything went off)

A***ing oil filter! Its finally off but it looks like a squashed can of coke the amount of force it took to unscrew!
