Been fine and my daily then all of a sudden has died and cant find the fault

Mine ran great for ages then died - turned out to be the coil, after changing it I then switched it over to non-ballasted and changed to another coil (just after some advice on here) and at the moment she is running great (just reaching out to touch wood!!!) :-) Some of the pinned items on here are a great help - but dont be afraid to ask in Problems, 99% of the guys will help you no matter how dumb the questions seem (I have asked a good few dumb ones!!)

Oh yeah then that is not bad then. Would be worth checking, especially if it isn't too expensive and there may be an improvement in the performance.

Well it had a slight valve leak anyway as smoked on start up, so going to be changing the valves while its off. Might look on ebay or around for a better head to put on it. The tax runs out Wednesday aswell so might just sorn it for the time being

yes they are great got them in three cars ,saloon,van, hornet & soon in a pickup . cheap & great on long trips

Rear tyres, numberplate light, hand brake cable fouling on wheel and droplink dust covers. Not bad for a 14 year old vtr

That was on one side! They had cut the sills up to the crossmember then decided to leave the rest on... Um yeah, its getting that way!
