My brother gave me an RC plane because he couldn't build it. I built it up in one day then killed it again on the maiden flight.

We hear this story all the time in my flying club. When we teach people to fly they are amazed at first on how hard they are to control. It takes the average person 6-12 months to learn to fly an RC plane properly. Even as an experience RC pilot test flying new planes is one of the worst things as they are so unpredictable.
