Anyone know the volume of a standard 1994 sprite fuel tank?

Thank you! I thought Galloons was an odd type of measurement :D This also means my fuel tank reads empty while there is still 16 Litres in there :|

I'm sure that although that is the volume you can't actually get that much in as the top of the tank is higher than the filler neck!

That's true, but when only 18 Litres fills my tank from "empty" at the pump when a whole tank is about 34 Litres there's obviously something going wrong with my fuel gauge! Doubtful that the filler neck is the missing 16 Litres ;)
