There seems to be cat sick in the Monk's radiator. No idea what it actually is. o.O

Has the cylinder head been retorqued??

Put all the effort in replacing the head gasket and it leaks from the front of the block now.

Did you torque up the bolts from the inside then move out?

Did them in the order the Haynes manual says. :(

No it qas just the front that was de bumpered, looked nice i must say, but no dont have that anymore. got my 3rd mini now and keeping this ha..

Turns out my head gasket blew thanks to a 6mm gap in the gasket between cylinders 3 and 4... Shouldn't need skimming, right?

Mini's under cover for a week or so till I can sort the head gaskets. :(

That's why I carry one in my spares kit. Not too hard to replace at the side of the road.

It takes a good couple of hours to do it properly but if you're at the side of the road, you can do it in a 'limp home' mode.
