Can some one help me on this was just wondering I'm fitting bucket seat in my car do you have to have runners on them for a mot or can I just bolt them to the floor and have fixed seat will it still pass like it

I think that the criteria for MOT is that if there is an adjusting mechanism it must work, rather than it must have an adjuster tand it must work

In my car, both drivers and nav seats are solidly mounted with no adjustment and passes MOT everytime. Might be worth going and chatting to your local MOT tester just to double check as he may have a thing about seats, whereas another testers pet hate might be something else.
