Crashed the mini, and will be a write off. Claim on insurance (i'm 18) and lose my years no claims, or get a loan to fix it and buy a cheap run around until fixed?

Don't claim on your insurance, because you're only 18 the premium next year will go through the roof

You do know that you gave to declare all accidents to your insurance whether you claim or not - right? If the car has been collected and taken to a yard I'm pretty sure it will be logged.

Nobody else was involved, happened late at night and got it taken away by a friend the next morning. Going with the loan if the bank will let me!
