Well, left home about 7pm in my ford escort, to go to attleburgh, for a couple of pints, get halfway there, flooded at the buckenham crossroads. Two cars infront of me go through, so i give it a go, car stalls halfway, water comes in up to the bottom of the steering wheel, so me n the missus sit on the roof of the car and call the fire brigade, they get us out of the flood, wait for AA to come to tow us home, only just now got home.... bearing in mind we were stuck 10mins from home :P lol, never did get my pints, now had to crack open a tinny and look forward to sorting the car out tomorrow evening lol

Unlucky Mate, Least you and your wife are fine :P

The weather In kent provided some great moments on the bluewater run, was a right laugh, sitting in massive deep puddles waiting for a big trucky caravan thing to move so we can get past :P

Yea gave us a giggle and a story to tell lol.

It was deeeep had a quick look, the filter box is wet, so first thing im gonna do is take the plugs out and turn her over, fire any water outta the plug holes lol

The car only cost me £400 so i find it easy to find the funny side that the interior is shagged lol

Err, if you saw 2 other cars go through, did you not take note of how high the water came upto on their cars?

(Bottom of steering wheel level is 'no small puddle')

Sorry but I think it was quite irresponsible of you to try, I think the brigage probably had enough to do today without rescuing you.

Do you think the brigade just sit around all day waiting to rescue idiots in puddles?

Not a puddle that deep I wouldn't.

Air intakes on motors are all in different places - what might be fine for one car could be catastrophic for another.
