should have tried aquaplaining across

hehe now if i tried that then i could understand people calling me irresponsible!

The water was only up to the steering wheel when other cars (4x4s) went past us and we were in there bow wave. I dont think i was irresponsible - the two cars that went before me were an astra van and some old blue car (it was dark). They both went down the edge of the road, i went down the middle,thinking due to camber its usually shallower in the middle, but hey ho, we live and learn. The fire men were glad to have a call out (there retained around here) - one of them even thanked me. Even if we hadnt of caled them out, they would of come out as there were antoher two cars stuck.

I remember last year when the floods were here, and my parents went through a low bit in the road which was a big puddle and it went up to the top of the wheel arches of a dsicovery so 4ftish, aand in the pub car park 100 metres past it was a mini mayfair which a girl had tried to go through the puddle
