You'll need to change the bonnet or cut off the lip on the Mk3 bonnet because they're different.
I'm not 100% sure what you need to do but someone on here'll help you soon i'm sure!

yeah i've got a fibreglass mk1 bonnet, and so i want to buy the moustache to finish, but just unsure whether it'll fit right over the mk3 grille??
if it doesn't i'll just :fear: "borrow" :fear: philtrum's design and use plain mesh! i think that looks BEAUT, but if i can use the grille i will do!

Oh well if you've got the bonnet i'm sure you'll be able to just screw the new grille straight on!
Have you seen mini-trailers grilles?
They combine mesh and chrome-slat grilles!
Something a lil different :erm:

No it won't. You need a Mk1 grille as well, which will fit your later car. Very important that you remember to paint all the new holes you have to drill as they are in prime rusting spots.
