PROGRRESS HAS BEEN MADE!! Dug out a good set of rear backing plates from the depths of the garage with free adjusters gave 'em a good old wire brushing and lick of black hamerite paint. Made up a good set of rear hubs with new not salvaged bearings so just w8in for a good set of drums to turn up and il fit the lot in one go. Dragged the old 1275 out from under the bench (engine krystle killed on way to bristolday ) and started to strip it down brought a full gasket kit from Mike best autos £20!! had a giggle when the guy on the other till payed £80 for a head gasket set!!!

last report i got from the garage is poor dougals stuck up on a ramp NAKED
apparently hes having a bit of welding done this afternoon, ready for his mk1 rear lights
i do hope they dont scorch his bare bum
progress is slow i want him back, i,m missing him

Hey was gonna salvage bearings out of me old mini Ratty as it had new just before it came off the road but seeming they're on the trailer i left em there.

Poor Little dougle at least he'll look smart for next years shows!! Better sort Runner sharpish!! Any piccys of nakeyness lol!!!

i have no transport at the moment to go up and see dougal as hes just outside of camborne
but i get regular updates via, short shorts
will hopefully go and see him on monday, i hope a bit more progress has been made, he quoted 2 weeks for the work ,but its now been 3 1/2, the poor little chap will be cold hes going back to bare metal because of all the bad paintwork hes had in the past. but he will be looking handsome for all the shows next year

Runner handsome not if i get my way debating to rat him next year satin black wide/possibly banded red steelies wind the highlows down ect but krystle keeps giving me evils when i mention it. Don't worry dougle will be ok he shouldn't get to cold cuddled up in a work shop.

he,ll be all decked out with baby things soon and pink or blue ribbons
and you,ll need the soft suspension to keep baby sleeping so i think you,ll have to put your plans on hold for a few years

why are you guys always right runners being softened up for baby duties according to the boss (krystle) as she gas decided she wants him!!!! looks like my project shell 666 will become the Rat! don't hold ya breath though!! Any news on dougle is he all dressed now?
