i did it this way:
i lay wood under the engine and the front subframe so that the engine couldn't fell down... the i took a stone in front of the rear wheels, took all the tubes and kabels of and took the screws from the front subframe of.
then i took the doors of (they weight the most)
after this i took a piece of wood an place it at the front ent of the tunnel to lift the car, then i place an old tyre unter the car, where the body could lay on (the rear end still has wheels) so you could lift the last inch and roll it back an lay it down...
the weight of the body is ok, i'm not really strong, but i did it like you can see on the pictures

the color for the body, that i prefer at the moment is an color from the company "Standox" it's called "miamimint" here is a picture: klick me i'm a link
The color for the engine, and the wheels i don't know yet
the other things i want to do / change are these:
-7x13" revolution 5-spoke
-aluminium dashboard, polished with another arrangement of the instruments
-clean, central locked doors
-no roof (speedster)
-cobra classic seats with Schroth seatbelts
-totally different backlights (small, flat ones, and they should be installed "halfs tunneld" )
-and no edges
-and an elektric Boot lid
thats it for the moment....

i've done it alone, with 2 people its much easier, because you have to step over the engine...
i did it this way:
