I think they are the same size as the Injector O Rings??? - http://www.minispare...ty=pb&pid=42137

...............are we being conned here >:P ?

Got both types of O Ring - MKG100240 for Fuel Injectors and BAU5325 for Fuel Rail.

When you put them side by side they are exactly the same (in size), just a slight difference in finish, Injector one is smooth and Fuel Rail one if sort of matt finish (or is it just different manufacturers??).

See photo attached (will post later when allowed!!!!)

The right hand one looks to be 'fatter'

Remember that one sits in a plastic hole and the other one sits in an aluminium hole.

There is also the material they are made of, could be different for any number of reasons. If thats what rover fitted, I wouldnt be questioning it.

Having said that, you probibly could get away with either on both ends. I sent my injectors (the very same for the MPi) for the 16v away for cleaning, they replaced all the O rings, they all look the same. The injectors are fitted in plastic holes at both ends, and they do not leak.

Its up to you what to do O_O

It's an optical illusion due to the right being "matt" finish. Measured them both with internal/external vernier and they're identical, all I can think is the material is different but why? Both are in contact with petrol and I assume both operate in same pressure/temperature conditions?

However, i will play safe and fit them in their correct places.

Got the injector ones from MiniSpares and the Fuel Rail ones from Moss (MiniSpares don't sell the Fuel Rail ones)
