I'll be replacing a portion of the floor pan, inner sills, outer sills and door step.

Just come in from the garage. Been fitting the rear door post (back to external hinges). I've fitted the door step a bit to but it's a crap fit!!! I'll be needing to hammer that in to shape (sounding like a pirate!! Why?) :) :(

And some from this morning. I've decided to put the complete floor and sills sections on the left in. To add even more strength to the front of the pickup. I've just quickly tacked it in place and will do the final welding at a later stage.

More perfectly neat work from you as always. It'll be nice to know that every Mini Van is Denmark has been restored to such high standards =]

Ok another installment and some photos for you. Replaced the inner wing on the right side today along with the inner and outer A panels. I thought I would make a point by using non original A- panels to show the difference in fit from the left side which is original panels. The first photo is what the wing looks like after I removed it!! In another photo you can see just how bad the fit is of the inner and outer A panels. I couldn't get my spot welder in to join the inner A panel to the inner wing so it's a combination of spot, plug and seam welds.

I like your idea of fitting the A-panels with the door fitted to them. It's something I didn't think of... but so obvious now that I've seen it!

Will you be doing the door step next?

Been in the garage most of the day today. Fitted the right hand door outer A-Panel so it fits properly, the door step, the lock catch piece were the rear of the door closes (taken from another car because of the internal hinge problem) the complete right side floor and outer sill and sill strengthener (the bit in between) and complete rear subframe mount at the back of the floor. Phew!!! >_< I did a fair bit of measuring too and level checking with a spirit level. Thankfully the garage floor is level  Just before fitting the subframe mount I cut the whole rear of the pickup of since I'm replacing it all anyway! I must admit I'm quite happy with the progress today >_< :xxx: :D

Ok folks tommorow (thursday) I'm going to attempt to replace the whole rear end of the pickup. Rear wings, rear wheel arches, subframe rear mount, the load floor supports etc. etc. It's a bit of a challenge and goal I've set myself for tommorow. Who thinks I can do it in a day? or not? quick poll just for fun :P :P :w00t:
