Ecotek valve?

i have, my brother and his mate had one, he said they were rubbish, couldnt tell any difference! :nugget: ...he said they are a waste of money.

if you want a good sort of valve, his mate has a 1.4 ZR and has a FSE Power Boost Valve...he said that made alot of difference and is well worth the money! :grin:

i havent experienced one, but by general word of mouth they arent supposed to be any good

yer, these are only for injection cars, but they work a treat apparently, my brothers mate took his to minisport, well, the place next door and they set it up correct...good peice of kit! :grin:

I had one on a clio sport. It sounds great if you set it up right. If you don't it makes a horrible whistling sound. I reckon they're worth a go.

what clio did you have alburglar? cup? and i know what you mean about the horrible noise, my brother made a little rattle, only quiet, but got very annoying!

mk2 phase 1. The first roundy type.what clio did you have alburglar? cup? and i know what you mean about the horrible noise, my brother made a little rattle, only quiet, but got very annoying!

sounds to me like its just going to make the engine go lean. you cant just pump air in after the metering device....unless mini's dont have a metering device. well. in that cae the carb is the metering device. lean = no no. :tongue: well. unless its lean best torque. but you need dyno sessions and a wideband tuner to find that out.

and that FSE thing is only good for a turbo car. if you dont want to spend all the money on a standalone you can get one of those to make the fuel pressure higher at boost. while keeping a nice idle at low rpm. dont see how that would help an NA car.
I geuss if you bought the FSE thing. you would go rich. so then to cancle it out. you buy that first thing to let more air in! wooo...back where we began :nugget:
