Is the battery fully charged?
I had a problem with mine where the in dicators would work one side, not the other and hazards would just stay lit. Cleaned off some earth contacts and haven't had a problem since.... or at least with the indicators anyway.

Wil_h and I are not talking about the same product. I did not make a mistake and I'm sure he's right also.
The Tridon EL12 flasher that I'm using does not change rate when bulbs blow. I can't say whether or not the Fiesta flasher Wil_h recommended would or wouldn't so I defer to his knowledge.
However, if you get a 2-prong electronic flasher to replace a 2-prong bimetallic flasher, you won't need to run additional wires.
I misunderstood. we are definately not takling about the same thing. The type that I am on about are digital timer types, hence they need the extra supply and you have to run a -ve wire.
Sorry for any confusion.

Not what I really wanted to do but it was a sunday and I had no option.
Anyway, it's fitted and the indicators function fine now... albeit a little bit slowly for my liking but hey ho.
Best bit though.. the unt was priced at £4.99 and with my Halfords Trade card, I got it for £1.99- bargain, even if it breaks in a couple of months.
