Had my Thirty since i was 16 - Sadly after about 4 years on the road it was too slow for the 110 mile trip to work, so it was replaced with more modern machinery and the Thirty was parked up behind my parents house.
Moved house a few months back, my lovely Golf GT TDi needs to go to free up some funds now i'm living with my girlfriend, my dad's constant nagging about the mini being at his house meant it was promptly trailered over from Chester, new battery and she fired after about 4 turns!!
MOT just required a couple of little jobs, now the Thirty is back in daily use - much better now i'm only doing 3 miles to work!
Just wondering if anyone has spotted it around Hazel Grove? Its a cherry red Thirty with some very dodgy looking bonnet springs (had to put these on as the bonnet catch dropped off!). I see 2 or 3 mini's every morning on the way to work - I'd forgotten all about the frantic waving and flashing to other Mini's, its brilliant!
Anyway, the Thirty needs quite a bit of bodywork after having been sat for so long, guess thats going on the never ending list of jobs!!
