Yes, Spybot - Search & Destroy basically finds this: -

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser\{07b18ea9-a523-4961-b6bb-170de4475cca} (Adware.MyWebSearch)

And doesn't remove it (although it says it has, but it just stays there and shows up again on the next search).

I've gone into the registry to try and remove it myself, but it just keeps on reappearing after it's been deleted.

Guess what folks I'm finally free of it.

I'm a dummy and I hadn't properly switched off the 'TeaTimer' option.

So once I deactivated that and ran 'Malware Bytes Anti Malware', it finally got shot of it.

So thanks again everyone.

Mind you I think I spoke to soon as once the TeaTimer is reactivated, the problem returns.

OOOOOO final steps I like getting close now!

On the little teatimer icon in your systray (top right hand corner) right click the icon and click settings.
This should bring up the black/white list somewhere in this list is the key that spybot keeps finding if you remove the key and turn off then on teatimer, restart your PC and then run a fresh scan this annoyance should be gone.

I believe uninstalling 'Spybot - S&D' should clear the TeaTimer.

I'll let you know how I get on.
