i had a call from the garage yesterday, the rear light adaptor plates are all welded in and unnecessary holes filled, he,s spent 2 solid days on it
he said 2 pack primer should be on next week sometime
finally some progress

i,m going to visit my llittle dougal on monday, will post up some pics
i do hope the garage have done something or mrs dougal will be very mad >

hes all rubbed down, roof apparently had to go back to almost bare metal because of micro blisters!
hes looking good though, very impressed with the welding work
apparently my petrol tank was held in by one rusty bracket so hes welding new fixings in the boot.
mrs dougal is a happy bunny

i think they are putting two pack primer on this week
although hes multicoloured he looks really smooth and no rust to be seen

everywhere seems to be out of stock on the stainless bumper, overider kits

Runners multi coloured and rusty ah well thats my own doings! i have a set of stainless bumpers and overriders on him that im planning on swopping for some standard black/grey 1s maybe able to sort summit out if you don't mind 2nd hand items on the ever handsom Dougle

if so its cost me a lot of money

and thanks for the offer of overiders but i want the MK1 set with corner bars and the bumpers come predrilled so i dont make a mess

yeah he's pulling the look off ok bit clean to be honest haven't washed Runner since crealy!!! no probs on the bumpers ect il put em in storage for wen/if i ever decide to build a mini worthy of there cause. the mk1 rear light conversion on dougle giving me ideas

hes all sprayed they are paining his roof this afternoon, old english white
then hes getting buffed
and should be ready early next week
hes looking beautiful, i,m getting excited now
