done some more work on it. got loom in and put engine and front sub frame in tonight.
not sure if it will be at imm yet stil have loads to do.

also recovered the clubman estate rear seat with cover from mpi mini seat.

anyone know where i cane get some light stone vinly trim to cover my door cards???

MPI ENGINE FITTED WITH SIDE MOUNTED RADIATOR.I HAD TO USE A SPI THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND MOVE THE TEMP SENSOR TO THE CYLINDER HEAD BECAUSE COOLING THE FAN HIT IT.THIS HAD TO BE DRILLED AND TAPPED TO GET IT TO FIT.

GOT SOME MORE WORK DONE.ENGINE IS NOW RUNNING.WILL TRY AND FINISH IT AND HAVE IT MOTD THIS WEEK

im getting all the door cards and trim made now by newton commercial have already had the cab carpet. should get it week monday.

i took the seat covers off the mpi mini saloon back seat and covered the estate one with it.to fit the front mount rad you really need to fit the mpi front panel whitch is cut around rad and fan.with that panel fitted when you put a mk1 grill on you can see the cut out part of the panel.

This is lush. Got the MOT booked yet and will you be coming to the IMM I want to have a closer look at this.

should have it tested end of week or next monday! all going well it should be at imm.

This for scratches?
and this too fill it in before buffing if it's deep scratch.

Fantastic project, just read through it as I haven't seen it before and she's looking really good. Great work too, nice to see it being done properly.
