without, the colours flow without having the white covers on

According to my barbara spotting diary she looks ace with and without the covers! I'm suprised though that you haven't sprayed them silver and put a purple star on them

oooo verns now theres an idea! lol!

jus sealed the hole up that was in the rear window seal, which i could actually see through, so it was quite big! with some black sealant!



so it should stop this from happening anymore...



So gonna replace that black material with some new stuff soon.....have yet to decide what!!

Also i finally got around to taking the lil union jacks off the alloys the other day....and they look a lot better now (altho thats it now, old babs has completely gone )



went out in her this morning and her wheels were nicely painted green after having to drive thru this....



hehehe! but it's all worn off now, yay!! was not enjoying the green wheel look!!

next on the ever growing list is:

new carpet
getting some speaker pods made up
dash!
refurbing alloys
painting headlining

think thats enuf to keep me going for a wee while!

Good ol' Babs has been in for a service today, jus to see if she's nice and healthy!
Nothing serious to report....which is always a good thing!
Here's what she did get though......

4 x spark plugs
1 x distributoer cap
1 x rotor arm
1 x points
1 x condensor
1 x oil filter
5 litres of engine oil
1 x r/c gasket
1 x female spade connector
1 x fan belt!

have no idea what the majority of them are but heyho!
jus need to get a rear wheel arch n new tyre before mot! lol

oh and he fitted my nearside mirror! woohoo! for the first time since i got her over 3 years ago babs has two mirrors! guess i should start looking in it now! teehee

k, so i was a bit bored today so i washed babs (she was desparately in need of a wash) and then took her out for a lil spin down some random country lanes near me and took some piccies!!
Sorry about the size, dint have time to make them smaller!!

(i appear to have my finger jus in the corner of this one lol)


















Also........got a big decision to make!!
Do I keep her for a couple more years and leave her as she is?
Or....
Do I sell her and get another??

Obviously your pride & joy but I thought you had the crinkles under the n/s headlamp done after the job was botched? If you keep the car mightn't you find rust bubbling through?

to be honest i think thats a stone chip type paint and sealer on the front.

If i remember correctly, she was annoyed by this but the guy did it to stop chips and rust. Dont quote me on it.

Its the stuff normally used on the front and rear valence etc.

of course keep it. if you sell her, you have a whole fresh set of problems to deal with - you know where you are with babs! She's looking good though. really should give mine a wash....
