Well, she offered, actually I bribed her with a couple of bottles of wine Well lets be honest, who's gonna make a better job of it....me, or my mum who used to be a textiles teacher

Anyways, they're all finsihed now!!! Quite pleased with the results! Decided to add a little extra bit to them, which will link in with something else thats gonna go on her but not telling what just yet

Quick Update on the Mini tho......
Last week when I rang him, he said she might be ready for 2moro, but when I rang him yesterday, all he's done in a week is pretty much just order my rear valence and find out that he needs to replace the scuttle? (i think thats what it's called) the bit under my window screen?!
But apparently no where has any rear valences in so he's got to wait for that to arrive!
I know it would take a while for her to be done but she's already been there over two weeks and he doesnt seem to have made much progress
Ah well, she'll be worth it in the end? I hope

another update!

rang the mini man today! bad news!!

he's taken my dash bit out and found mega bad carrosion(spelling) but the carrosion is on the actual shell, so there isnt a part that he can order to replace it so he;s having to rebuild up with a fibreglass mould?!?!

good news...he's gonna try and keep it within in the quote? so hopefully it wont cost too much more!

but it's gonna take another couple of weeks

best be worth it!

if its the bulkhead thats rusty he could just cut the old metal out and weld a new sheet of metal in theres not much shap to it

i didnt really understand what he meant by having to use fibreglass, but im guessing by tom on the phone and bungle, its not too good!
