cheers guys! i went to see her today, she's looking really nice! just hard to picture herfully finshed yet as she's quite dirty and got some marks on her, altho im hoping these marks will come off when she's washed!
around the bottum she looks a bit 'bobbly' and i asked him what that was and he said it's chip resistant stuff that he's put on! it looks quite bad round the front, im hoping again that some of it'll look less obvious once he's washed and then sanded her down (i dont know if that right, tom tried to explain, but i got a lil confsed)

rob_mini...yea there is a dint in my boot :) the white dint bring it out as much as the silver has, which is a bit of a pain in the a**!! but we'll see how that goes!

binge....yea the windows were taken out, have seen pictures with them out, so im hoping that shouldnt happen!

i took some more pictures.....

when you say about the little marks do you mean the streaky bits down the sides? They are from wet flatting the car I think (using a really fine sandpaper with water to really smooth it down). It'll come off really easy when it is washed and she will be a likkle beauty!

It is probably worth having the 'stone-protector' paint on the front too, it may look a little bobbly but won't be noticable really when she's all finished, plus it'll stop all the stones marking her 'chin' as much!

yea it is on the front! it's mega obvious on the front, doesnt look too pretty which is why im hoping it'll go down a bit when she's fully finsihed!

but i hope she will be a ickle beauty!!

It could be that the clips that hold in the brake pads have snapped on one side or both, or the hubs/flanges weren't cleaned properly when the discs were fitted. Either way, fitting a new set properly will fix it, or removing the old set, cleaning and checking then re-fitting should surfice, just to let you know

Good Luck

Are you getting the wheels sprayed up with purple spokes?

It does look brilliant. my mini has stone resistant paint on the front valance too, It does look a little bobbely but it stops stone chips (which lead to rust).

Once the grill and front bumper go back on, it will b hardly noticeable!

Well Guys and Gals....here we are! Babs is back home and looking spangly!!!!!

Still need to give her a wash as his washing skills are up to much if I'm honest! So I'm gonna do that tomorrow as I'm running out of time today!
But so far today I have hoovered and de-dusted her, she was real dusty!! I have put my black seat covers back on (till I can afford to buy black seats)! Put the centre console, new matts and new gear knob! She's looking quite good and I was quite impressed with her until it came to trying to fit the new door cards in.......they wont fit  which has put a bit of a dampner on things, so I need to try and find some cheap ones and then transfer the vynal from these ones to the other ones, so that I can have door cards...yay!!!!

Anyway heres some pictures.....
