hi there
I need some advice on how to change the front panel on my mini rally car i have purchased.
As I am new to minis ,just thought I should check before attacking it with a grinder!
Is it a case of cutting it off ? Do I need to support subframe in any way ?
I have look for information on this site but can't seem to find it.
I would appretiate any advice as I've not driven the car since buying it and really itching to get it on the road
thanks
Rob

The first thing I'd to is check to make sure the wings don't need replacing too.

Apart from that, then yes, it's pretty much a matter of getting the grinder out. Make sure you're not chopping through any wiring though. When you've chopped the front panel from the wings, (inner and outer). You can unbolt it from the front subframe.

The subframe doesn't need to be supported. It'll happily support itself and the car without any of the front end.
