Hi,

I have just ordered an oil pressure gauge and am wondering how to wire it in to the car?

Have also ordered rev counter and water temp, there wires for both of these already exist.

How do i go about wiring up the oil pressure gauge, do i need some sort of sensor?

Thanks

Jon

The oil pressue gauge is a physical pipe that runs from the block into the dashboard.

I would check on Minispares to see if the do a fitting kit to save yourself the mither.

Should come with instructions and fitting kit. Usually come with a sender too. Some even are kind enough to include the right adaptor to fit them.

Some oil pressure gauges are electronic which use a sender which connects to the front of the block via an adaptor. One wire goes from here to the unit, and another to -|| earth
