wasn't to sure exactally where this question should go so if this is in the wrong section could an admin please move it.

I was wondering how much work and how much cost is involved in converting a mini from auto to manual??

what parts are required etc?

also does anyone know a garage or someone in the North East (middlesbrough area) who could do the conversion??

Well why are you searching in general chat for a technical question? General chat, as it says in the title is for anything not related to the Mini. You won't find much technical help in here!

Try searching mini chat or technical and problems.

You dont have to swap the subframe , you can use spacers between the engine mount and the auto subframe.
The one in this months mini mag keeps the auto subframe and makes spacers.

mini sport sell some adaptor plates with new engine mounts for using an auto subframe and a manual engine. its easy to do, dont forget to join the two wires that went to the inhibit switch on the auto selector or you engine wont start
