Does anyone have a photo of a K&N 57i kit fitted to an SPi mini, by any chance?
I haven't bought one yet, but i whipped off the airbox and there was a rather large bowl around the
carb, which confused me a little.
Cheers.

The presence of a carb on an SPi engine should have been what confused you really...

What do you mean by a bowl?

Moved to the injection section..

Bleah. Wasn't thinking at the time, but even so... why the heck DID i write carb?
Meh...
Essentially if you take off the top of the air filter, the filter element and the bottom of the airbox, I couldn't see any obvious way to mount a filter using conventional
means (ie jubilee clips).
That photo's exactly what I asked for, Cat'n kirk, cheers. Unfortunately I didn't ask for what i wanted though!
My question should've been more along the lines of:
How the bloody hell did you mount it on, since I can't see a way. :) Oh, and what did you do with what I assume is the O2 sensor? (yellow wire heading to the intake tube of the airbox)

Cheers for any more help!

Hi mate, if you get the kit, it comes with all instructions, to fit it, it has a big juberly clip to mount it on the the throttle body. The yellow one you leave in place. have a look on k/n web site they have the instructions, for download.

hope this helps.

Anyone got a video on what these sound like on SPis?
I was thinking about getting one, basically because they look tidier than the standard air-box, and I know they do help air flow too.

Nevermind! Youtube got me some. Couldn't find any on there last time I searched!
