I've just seen the advert for the new tomb raider game and this made me think of tomb raider 2 on playstation 1 and how it is the best ever game for that console lol (in my opinion anyway).

Just wondered what everyone else's favouriote game was for the playstation 1?

I used to play Worms for hours when I was a kid! Then I got Armageddon and it just wasn't the same.
First GTA was amazing, remember the orange gangs? You kill the person in front, then they all follow you!
Crash Bandicoot was good too, but I lost the disc to that.

Gran Turismo
Worms
Syphon Filter
Abe's Exodus
Metal Gear Solid
Final Fantasy 7 (my game save was over 200 hours if I remember )

Although, my absolute favourite (and probably one you've never heard of), and indeed one of my favourite games of all times, was/is called Grandia - legendary Japanese RPG ported from the Saturn to the PS1. Pure amazing storyline, fantastic battle system. Still play it every now and again on my computer, it's that good.

Abe! I had Abes Odessey, was that the first one? It was the first ever game I got, I got given the PS1 for my birthday or christmas or something, I remember my parents paid a hell of a lot for it with that game and V Rally and GT!

I used to play Gran Turismo for houuuuurrrrssss! One of my favourite games of all time.

Wipeout, Micro Machines, Metal Gear Solid, and Dave Mirra BMX were all good too.

worms ruled! as did gran turismo, abes odyssey and tomb raider! then i grew up and used my ps2 as a dvd player

Nothing could ever beat the playability of Worms! Playing grenade only matches to hone your skills!
