I traded my original PS1 games in when I got my PS2. I have about 30 now but don't play them often.

Crash Team Racing is much much much better than Mario Kart 64, I always thought. Mario Kart 64 just seemed so basic after Crash Team Racing.

Future Cop L.A.P.D. - used to have it until I got the PS2. Then I got one again in a bundle at a car boot sale for about 70p per game but sold it on ebay for £15. :D It was a good game and I don't think there were many similar games.

I can remember spending £45 of my savings to buy Tomb Raider 3 when it was quite new. I couldn't get past the first level. :w00t:

When I was about 13 I was playing Tomb Raider then the T-Rex bit took me by surprise. I just about had a heart attack. :P

The smell of a polished lounge always reminds me of the first day I got my Playstation. I had gone to Selfridges in London with dad on my 12th birthday and when we got home I set it all up and played the included demo disc for a few hours. It was a new experience going from a Mega Drive. Everything looked so realistic.

Metal Gear solid is my all time favourite Game, not including Racing as a genre.
All the memories of playing games like these, MEtal Gear, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, pacman world, Colin Mcrae, Medi-evil Abb :D

But Still, To this day Metal gear solid is the most tense game to play, the graphics were way ahead of there time, the soundtrack was mint, and when your getting chased its soo scary :w00t:.

Anybody remember this? stands out in my mind Overboard, Shipwrecked.

here

I still occasionally play the old ps1 games, probably more than the new ps2 ones, they just seam to lack something of the original.

I’ve also got the last/smaller white psone with attachable screen so have a spare grey ps1 and lads of controllers extras.

I also found around the time the ps2 was launched that you can use the scat/audio cable on the ps1 to help improve the graphics slightly and at the time made some early ps2 games look a bit rubbish comparison.

I just remembered in Driver 2 you can get a mini! :w00t: Does anyone else remember this cheat? It was over near the stadium in havana i think. If i had the game i'd go and find it because i can remember exactly where it is but not on the map lol.

The stadium one is some yellow with black stripe muscle car and wasn't in Havana, Na the white rusty mini is in Havana off one of the main freeways before a long tunnel down a little track till you get to some trees, flick a switch and then go into this underground compound till you find the mini sitting on a platform which raises back up to ground level once you get in.

It’s a pretty good game and had me playing it for hours right up to the chase the gunman challenge, were you start off in a hut, jump in the car and head off to the road round the lake, just i never seam to be able to do it.
