I'm 19 and onto my second Mini, but that seems to be nothing judging by some of the posts on this thread! Allthough I did have like a hundred Sierra Cosworths, and I crashed all of them... (sarcasm, refer to posts by Racer36).

I had my first for my 18th birthday, a 1982 998 HLe called Smokey, but I had to sell due to monumental MOT failiure.

I was off Minis for about a month before buying a 1979 Mini 1000 with a seriously suspect MOT who I am slowly repairing whilst using her as a daily ride.

Hi, I'm Dan, 16 and on my 3rd Mini already >_<. Did have all 3 at one point to my parents' disgust, but now only have my Gt. Sold the other 2 in the last month. And lol at Shane's (racer36) posts. Or should that be ex racer seen asthough he moved from autograss to oval because people didn't get on with him, then got banned from oval... We did once have a Mk1 mg metro that we crushed, and we also got rid of the odd ferarri. Oh i forgot about that zonda that went last week... oh alright, maybe it was just the metro, after we'd taken then engine out obviously! :techsupport:

I'm Kimberley and I have a Mini Mayfair called Bev and I am 19.

I got into the whole Mini scene when we went to L2B earlier this year in my other halves Clubman and I got bitten by the mini bug. 6 days after we got back I swopped my car at the time (yellow Tigra) for Bev and have never looked back.

Here's my Bev:

I think there is just something about older cars in general and although i have a modern car for work and a modern people carrier for the wife,my toys are always older cars as they have a bit more character.
