As above really, I need to fit a weber box into my bulkhead and am wondering where people position them and how big the hole is (or if anyone has a template).

Does it fit in as low as possible against the section where the subframe bolts are??

How have people dealt with the loom that comes through the removable plate in the bulkhead where the box will end up being??

Pics, advise etc very welcome. I will be attempting to cut the bulkhead witha grinder and a cutting disc.

Thanks

Wilson!

Hi wilson1275 how ya doing? can not remember where exactly the box goes but the cables should route up over the box and fix with ties.
what box do you have? I used a battery box many moons ago. if you look at a few project you migt find a piccy of a box fitted.

I have a proper weber box i bought off of crocks a while back. Maybe just mark on the bulkhead where the carbs are at the momoent and centralise the box to it?

best is to fit the weber and manifold on and work it out from there

Don't know if these are any help, was my old engine set-up

I used a battery box and if I remeber correctly it was one inch closer to the passenger side

I rerouted the wiring to top left of the box as looking at it in the photos

and when I fitted mine I kept it as low as possible so it sat on the parcel shelf inside
