Yep get it !
My son had a 205 1.6gti which was good but has now got another with the mi16 engine in it.

I love it & find any excuse to drive it

Nearly as much fun as my mini

not neccesarily...the 1,9 gearbox's arent as strong as the 1.6's its why alot of the rally boys swap them over, also there closer ratio

get one yeah...there good cars, notice the one on ebay has sunroof..some people dont alwasy want them...if you plan on caging it like the orange one get a Safety devices cage rather then the more redily available OMP ones....they mount in much better places

too much on at the mo. a mini i need to put back together and shift. the yellow one i've just bought thats needs doin in summer when the mot runs out.
got a bike to sort and sell, then i new bigger one that will probably need workin doing on it.
my dads goin nuts with all the *rubbish* all over the place. supposed to be saving for a house too.

i brought it for £95!
it never let me down ever i loved it
thn i got my city and loved that more
but i allways said th only other car id own if it cant be a mini is a 205
so id say do it

I couldnt believe it when my son went from a mini 998 value £500 to the 1.6gti value £2500 for only another £50 !

They said it was still classed as a classic car & him being a member of british mini club still got his discount !
