austin and morris were the first to make the mini, then morris stopped and austin carried on, then when austin stopped, rover started making it then BMW made the MINI, i.e bini or bmw mini or new mini which is what you have!
the moke is just a different variation made in the 60s and then reproduced in the late 80s, using mini running gear, there are loads of kit cars like this, such as the scamp!

After Morris it was BL then Austin.
But yes, real Mini's are the ones that BMW didn't get their greasy mitts on!! Anything that looks like your missus Bini isn't a real Mini. Sorry.

The classic Mini yes, 50% of the people don't know what it is... however BMW Minis are everywhere.

not the original one... most dont know much about that movie. The remake made the BMW Mini quite popular over here.
that had an original mini in it though! only for about 30 seconds, but its still in it!

I havent even seen the remake.....Yes, I know... probably my favorite part of the remake... however its not as noticed by others.
