Flip Front Question

hi all i have done a search on flip fronts but does not answer my question.
i have just bought a mini with a flip front and my question is
when u open the flip front what do people use to suport it.
pictures will be great to give me some idea.
if i could i would like to fit a set of the gas shocks what keep car boots open

Easiest would be a bit of string used in a similar fashion to the boot wire stays - or use a boot stay.
I used to just rest mine on a box, which worked but didn't help when I forgot to fasten the front and batted my headlights in to the tarmac :D

I use a bonnet stand for mine.. does the job quite nicely and holds it solid. If someone accidentally leans on it theres no chance it will fall back on the car.

I've got some metal bars similar to the bonnet prop that hold it all the way open, I've also got some bungee cords with karabiner's on each end that stop it slamming forward and can actually hold it up on their own.
