Good thread!

I have an original 60GB console, upgraded to 320GB, current games I have are

F1
Rachet and Clank
UNcharted
Resistance
LBP
GT5 Prologue
GTA
Lego Star Wars
Fifa 09
Buzz!
MGS

Also got a few PSN games, Pain, Wipeout HD, Super Stardust, High velocity bowling...

Got PlayTV as well and just got hold of Burnout Paradise for about £9 on ebay

Just realising how much I must have spent on my PS3...glad quite a few games were presents!!

Love mine - I've got the 160GB version.

Games: GTAIV, GT5 prologue, Valkyria Chronicles, LBP, Super Stardust, Last Guy, Ratchet And Clank, PES '08, and a couple others.

GTAIV, GT5, LBP, and Valkyria Chronicles are on constant rotation. Such good games!
And soon, my 36" CRT full HD Toshiba TV is arriving for awesome viewing pleasure.

It's the most innovative game for ages. Extremely addictive, with the most well thought out level creation tool I've ever seen. The online community is huge, replayability almost infinite. As to what you actually do in the game - you'd really have to play it to find out. It's hard to describe. It would do it a huge dis-service to call it a platform game, but I guess essentially that's what it is - with a lot of cute fuzz on the side.

LBP is great fun, some of the levels people have created are amazing!

My favourite game so far has to be Uncharted though, have played it through about 5 times now, just love it!

Had my ps3 for a while now and its pretty awesome. I literally bought it just waiting for gran turismo to be released.
But considering that is now ages away Ive got a few games. Plus borrowed a few.
The only bad game i have played is tiger woods. Its absolute rubbish compared to the older games.
Haze
Army of two
Need for speed pro street
Lego star wars
Lbp which i think is a really good game but i think you would have to be really sad to sit there and make a decent level. It would literally take hours.
Fifa which gameplay wise is incredible but the graphics i found were average.
Prince of persia which is a good game but a bit easy. It also looks like a comic which is pretty cool.
Motorstorm
And obviously gt which to be honest is amazing. I treated myself to a full hdtv over xmas and i actually got goosebumps because the graphics are just amazing. I cannot wait untill the full game comes out.
I have a technical question. Im currently in the stone ages and dont have internet at my house. But i want to get broadband with a router. It can connect wirelessly to the net cant it. Also if i put the protection so no one else can use it do you just type in a code when accessing it.

hopefully enough of you are skyving off school and work, so that i can get a quick reply.. really feeling down at the moment and want to spend £300 to make myself feel better!

ive looked at all the major stores (dont know where else to look) and only 2 deals jump out at me to be honest. and i need your advice on which ones better value for money. or basically im having to decide between an 80GB console and a 160GB console. i dont know which ones better, if there are any differences other than hard drive size, or if i need 160GB anyway?

the 80GB deal is at game - fifa 09 and resistance 2 + i am legend blu-ray and the blu-ray controller. thats £299

or 160GB at pc world - fifa, LBP and WWE. £340.

the games i want are fifa and GTA primarily, resistance - looks like ill love it but havent heard anything about it, LBP - thought it looked crap until i read through this thread and thats it really, and was considering COD too but dont really like 1st person shooters without a mouse and keyboard.

any help and advise? ill probs get it later today unless my sensible side comes back to me.
