Hi

I have a 1275 Cooper Fuel injection on a 1994 plate.

I'm having serious prob.

1) The imobiliser does not work at all. Not sure if this is a problem or related to my faults

2) Battery seems to drain

3) Engine idle irrattic at cold its just ticks over. However every now and then when warm the engines races for a while. I've been told it needs a new stepper motor becuase sometimes it decides to work and it making the engine race.

Should I buy a new stepper motor or becuase it works sometimes do I need to check something else?

4) electics. Driving home the other day battery light came on. Stopped car an switched off then tried to re start and the battery was flat. The battery is now charged but horn, lights, rear screen, radio, heater fan, indicators does not work. All fuses fine.
