I dont know what its called one of the old owners put it on.
Might change it not sure though.
By the way thats what it was like when i first got it i have now took off those seat covers and cleaned it up :).

LOL yes you do make sense given that its completely original (bar the wheel and the stereo), the car is one of the last Cooper Sports (not 500 though). SO its about as modern as they will ever get. Cheers for the compliment :genius:

I apologise for hijacking the thread with my question...

But I am also thinking of putting a new steering wheel in my P-Reg Mayfair. It's standard at the moment, thinking of putting a Mountney Race Wheel in it, how difficult are they to fit? I'm not very confident with taking anything apart (especially my beloved Mini), particularly if it involves any kind of wiring/electrics!

its litteraly one bolt, make sure you dont take it off all the way. Leave it half on so you dont smack yourself in the face with the steering wheel when you pull it off.

Yeah, I've read that before haha.

Just wondered about the Boss though, do you have to rewire through it? I'm clueless with stuff like this! :thumbsup:
