There was a group of us coming back and cought up to another Mini (not on the run) that was a bit slower than than us. Got to a T junction and we were turning left, we all braked and Mike was behind me, he likes to brake late and ignores red lights coming on in front of him. He locked up and John i think did the same. Luckily mike didnt hit me and went into the verge a bit, John wasn't so lucky and 'kissed' the back end of mike. One smashed headlight and a bit dented (should pull out) bumper bent up with over riders.
not good! sounds like what i nearly did when my brakes decided to put the fluid on the road instead of in the cylinders. and i was a good distance back with my near miss.
maybe time to implement a couple of run rules, depending on what the rest of the group think?
thats 2 near misses in the last 2 runs. too much effort goes into these cars to be playing bumper cars with them.
by all means play silly beggers and have some fun, but lets keep the minis safe lol.
me and andy noticed that towards the back of the group braking is very difficult to spot.
everyones reaction times add up towards the back leaving very little time and stoping distance.
dnt forget everyones stopping distances are different as well.
possibly also put the slower cars to the front? so nobody gets left behind. i left andy then felt mean n pulled over to let him catch up lol, but by the time he did everyone was long gone.
