its the people who attend to children in the back seat while driving who get to me! for christ sake pull over, not manically swerve everywhere whilst giving the little sod a drink or something. grrrrr

True, some parents need to prioritise when driving, but it's the *willy* heads who drive with one hand on the steering wheel and the other holding their mobile phone to their head whilst concentrating more on the conversation their having with the person on the other end, rather than actually concentrating on their driving who are the kind of people who really annoy me.

And yes they should definitely pull over or use hands free at the very least!

ANY driver that gets to close to the back of you are absolute d1ckheads. I hate them. It makes me really nervous now because had someone go into the back of me twice.

Right after a bit of a confusion on another forum can I just categorically state that in my previous posts, I was not holding Cobra seats at all responsible for the frame bending. I have no doubt that the bent frame was as a direct result of some other problem; loose fixings, knackered bolts, whatever. But the fact is that this frame failed, that's a fact, no amount of finger pointing from other people or me will change that. What I was trying to point out is that, this happened at a relatively slow speed, in a car capable of doing well over 100mph, this could have been a lot worse. Whether you drive a road car or a track car or whatever, I was pointing out that things need to be checked to ensure that failures like this don't occur with more serious consequences. I appreciate after reading my initial post back that I may have come across differently than I had intended, but bear in mind that it was the day after I wrote my pride and joy off and I wasn't in the best frame of mind.

Let's have a piccy of the mounting, people can use their own judgment. Might not always be a bad thing if it allows the seat to move you away from an impact.

There's no excuse for bad driving, but in defence of some white van men I would say they are trying to earn a living. We introduced tachographs and masses of regulations on the haulage business and created a market for lowest cost contractors, people belting up and down the motorway in overloaded vans trying to scrape a living is the inevitable consequence.

Whilst I agree in principle that this would be a good idea, in this case it actually moved my head closer to the point of impact.
