ok fair one ,but kind of defeats the object of taking a quality photo IMO if ur going to mess with it afterwoods

any how ,could some one tell me how to photograph FOG at night/dusk ,sounds strange i know but how do you stop it from looking like you have just photographed the inside of your pocket ?

or is it that a better quality camara will do what i need ?

to photograph fog obviously you will need an slr if you can get hold of one, and you dont want to fire a flash off otherwise it will come out like nothing, You really need to set it up for a long exposure approx 10-15 secs so you get the natural light in and prob fiddle with the white balance so it dont white out on you depending on how dense the fog is.

'28 Days Later' is a great site and this is my favourite collection of snaps of a great modernist building: -

Shame they weren't all built to this standard in the 1960's/70's.

run run for the hills i would !! lol

"joe m " how comes the link to the pics you posted early on on this thread ,look like they are computer graphics (the digger and the towers in the background etc ? look good but just confused as to why they dont look like photos ?

It's HDR which is why it doesn't look like normal photos.

Taking photos in very very low light isn't easy. I find a little bit of light painting using a torch helps well.

Spotted a derelict farm near me ages ago, so went for a closer look tonight. Unfortunately we got disturbed as we had left the car blocking someones access so had to return and move it.

Its a old dairy farm, heres a couple of buildings we went in....

Will go back and explore more another time, once we find better car parking.

Spooky that the milking apron is still there after all these years....

Not long back from a wee expedition with my mate to Broomhill hospital Kirkintilloch (just outside Glasgow).
Wee bit of history,Opend in 1876,the hospital cared for patients
suffering from incurable conditions such as TB,
cancer,Multiple sclerosis,Huntington`s,chronic rheumatism etc.The hospital closed in 1995.

Now that looks cool!

Theres an old hotal/pub by the river down the road, I really want to go explore it. My sister had her wedding reception there when it was open...

Only problem is, its right by the main trunch road of Hereford... so can't really see me getting in without someone seeing >_<

Just go for it you know you wana! :(

That hospital is quit cool but this place is sooooooooo much better........

Just back from another wee mission with my mate and this place is massive we where there for 3 hours and seen less than a quater of the place.
The small area we explored had so many buildings that we never got a chance to look in side them all but the next day i`ve got off from work we`ll
be going back.

This place is a "royal ordnance explosives divison" it`s only a 15min drive outside glasgow anyway heres some photos (the photos are in no order).
