a complete used set just sold on ebay, all wood and all chrome for.... £300 !!! i cant imagine what a complete NEW set would be worth. Luna, please DO NOT tell us how much you paid for yours...

engine, brakes, fuel line, rest of glass, rest of wood trim and chrome surround, front wiring loom and interior. Getting there! Hope tonight is to fit the rest of the windows and fit the wiring loom.

Thanks everyone.

I have finally got round to another update.....

We Doris come back to mine on Thursday (after being at Alexs since she came back from the body shop) and today we managed to get a days solid work done on her. It doesn't look like we've done much but all the electrics under the bonnett are hooked up, and amazingly we connected up her new battery and got some life out of the engine for the first time in 11 years! We only turned it over a couple of times as it needs fully flushing out etc but it's a fantastic start! She is booked in to have her MOT on monday 2nd ready for malvern show on the 8th so I'm feeling very excited now!
We now have a hard week ahead of us to get everything done for the MOT and then it's just the finishing off!!!
