James962 that has to be the best signature I have ever seen!!!

I really enjoyed Bingley, mainly because I bought an exhaust :D

Saw quite a few people from finity but no one from tmf, I'm too short to see over the crowds! And agreed there were far too many people in there. And which bright spark though it was a good idea to have those flamin hot heaters on???

lol no probs

i went into the auto jumble and where ever i was i was getting pushed and shoved so i didnt bother looking anymore lol

i know exactly what you mean, the arrogance of some people was unbelievable! lol

wasn't that they were being rude, just the fact that if someone bent down to look at something, the whole 'isle' as such was taken up so you couldnt get past...

they just needed to be a little more spaced out,

i had a good time though, my leg hurt, but got all the little bits i wanted, except some stainless twin washers, ah well, theres always another show :D

met some cool people today, 'sally the mini' for one, erm... and i feel really bad but i can't remember what they're names on here are. (i parked next to them, and they filled the car full of parts and bits, god knows how all three of them got in to go home.)

so hello :)

oh and hello to verns playmate again ;) bec? i think... sorry, i'm crappy with names.

was a little let down with the east midlands convoy, people left at different times, so it ended up being a convoy of four ( and then five later on) out of about 15...

never mind...

good day over all ;)

Loved it today, took my mother along who enjoyed it more than me and can now understand why i like mini's so much!

Bought a new sunroof with black trim to replace the one i've got at the moment, paving the way for a black roof :D

I think they need to move somewhere next year, was good but a bit cramped. Auto jumble was a bit of a mess and tucked away, i would have liked that to have more prominence over the Bini's.

Edit, why did i say ignored? lol

Very much enjoyed the first show of the year bought a few panels for my Cooper cheap enough to cover a 368 mile round trip in a 1000 :D

I'm sorry Minipete thats my daughter getting into her car and crowding out your pick-up picture!!! you should have said something, I'm sure she would have moved (though as she is a teenager I can't be sure how quickly)

Although , if they had sold guns, Mr Tannoy would have been first against the wall :)

Hello you ;) Was really nice to meet you!

Me and Vern drove by ourselves this morning as we were a bit out of the way for the convoy but we did see some awesome minis, especially a cracking white one :) My favourite bit of the drive on the way there was being overtaken by a convoy of BMW minis and getting a cheeky wave from one of the passengers so me and Vern did the usual waving and flashing like loons. They turned right at the next roundabout and me and Vern went straight over. 15 minutes later they passed us again after they've taken a 'detour' :D It was sweet because they recognised me when I got to the show and were laughing about trying to catch up with the Vernmeister :)

Here's my fleet of pics :)

The car of the show for me has to be the water-based paint one, almost had a pearlescent flick to it - grey/purple. It just looked mint, and the interior was spectacular. I was so amazed by it I didn't even manage to get a pic! :D

Ahh, was a great day, got some scratch panels for behind the door handles, chrome sill strip and that was it, wish id have bought some wipers + more chrome bits, but theres always later.

Didnt get many pics as we set off early back, should have stayed with you brad!

(gutted i didnt take my mini)

Was great seeing some cars ive followed getting restored on threads and seen on various signatures, roofless being one of many, as well as bean :D And that red mini trailer which looks like a shorty with no front wheels.

Great day, shame i didnt know anyone off the forum though.

Glad you liked it :) Was very painful driving 4 hours there and back at 60 though, along with the condenser failing on the way home lol. but made it home in the end ;)
I was slightly dis-appointed with the show over all, more space was needed and I didn't feel that there were many cars on display. It also seemed to be laid out in a dis-jointed way, i.e traders mixed in with show cars. As a result it didn't take long to go around the whole thing, got all the bits i wanted though ;) and was good to see some of the cars I see on here, so overall an OK day :)
Also very dis-appointed with the Margave 50, didn't look like it was worth £25,000 to me!

We stacked up on parts today....
New carpet set in electric blue,
boot lining set in same colour
brake discs and pads
brake calipers
caliper rebuild kit
coil cover
autoglym kit
chrome W+P arch covers
engine mounts
engine steady bars
keyrings and fiddly bits

Enough bits to finish the whole car really!!
Was so much there, wish I could have won the Paul Smith Mini, but hey!
