I want to get a dash for my 93' Cooper Spi.
I have recently obtained 2 Smiths guages with black faces and a Speedograph vacuum guage, all have chrome rims.
My interior is of the 92' Cooper style ie black with red piping and without the later style seats.
I am thinking maybe a charcoal dash perhaps, but i want to have some alloy door handles in the future so maybe an alloy dash....or a alloy dash with charcoal insert for the clocks
What colour would look best for the clock faces? Bearing in mind the dials i have are black faced. I could have contrasting white faces or i could even have some black ones made up specially (i am yet to enquire about the possibility of this) I dont think i can obtain black faces for Nippon Seiki Clocks.
decisions...decisions...
I welcome any other suggestions.

I think black goes with anything...
I made mine (as you can probably guess)

I want a professional look, and if i made my own it would probably look tacky.

What are you trying to say
I think that a alloy dash with black faces on the two guages and keeping the balck faces on your original clocks would look best.
All the clocks and guages would match and the alloy would go with your new handles, it's not too racy or classic either so will suite many different styles.
I think you'll need to get hold of another gauge tho, two might look a bit wierd.

I have three gauges
keeping the black faces on your original clocks would look best.
Thats the problem, the faces on my clocks are greyish, not black. :erm:
I was thinking of maybe having a graphics firm making some special black faces ones for Nippon Seiki Clocks, im not sure if this is possible.
