Hi yeti,

Yes - thats definately a verto setup - short clutch arm, and the slave cylinder is mounted on a seperate bracket off the crankcase.

# i do have a question - at the minute, the pivot for the clutch arm appears to be a hex head bolt? - see picture;

Is this the case, or is it just rusty? - If so, when you do the clutch i would order a proper clevis pin and split pin;
Clevis pin

Now, the bolt may have worn the clutch arm too,
Short clutch arm.

Shame it's the verto clutch - more expensive than the non-vertos..

that plate the slave cylinder is mounted to is also missing the lower bolt that holds it onto the housing and stops it levering up - as it currently is doing...

looks like it has been bodged with a bolt too (through the arm pivot)... so would imagine the hole in the clutch cover is over-size now...

so to go back to a clevis pin... you'll need a replacement clutchcover too...

Are you aware that the slave cylinder bracket is considerably bent and there is a mounting bolt missing which goes through the slot you can just see near the operating arm end. It should screw into the small protrusion on the clutch cover and I think there should be a spacer between bracket and cover.
As mentioned above the arm pivot looks very rusty, if this were stuck or very stiff it could cause clutch slip

a clutch cover because it has been bodged up with a bolt
a bolt and spacer to hold the slave cylinder plate correctly on the clutch cover
and if it needs a new clutch then a vetro one.
