Yes, as I said above, the whole fuel system including the tank was checked the first time I had this problem. We came to the conclusion that it was dodgy fuel. Surely I cannot be unlucky enough to have this happend twice in 4months!?

Sounds a bit strange to me that its still the same problem, anyway a check to the fuel cap, the neck and the breather pipe would be worth. Water may enter from somewhere, i dont think u're so unlucky to find 2 garages with dodgy fuel in 4 months! :S

If meths didnt work, i dont think u have the problem of water in fuel, unless your fuel cap or the neck itslef are leaking water inside the tank..
Are u sure your carb is fine, with no worn jet, all vacuum pipes connected and your air filter isnt clogged?
